Carrefour launches its own craft beer from Toledo La Sagra

The food chain Carrefour has chosen the Toledo producer of La Sagra craft beer to launch a new own brand assortment of beers made without additives, without preservatives, with 100% natural ingredients under its Carrefour Sensation brand: wheat white, IPA (India Pale Ale), reserve, red, IPA session, gluten-free and blonde without filter, according to a statement.

Carrefour has chosen La Sagra Brew that makes the beers entirely with water that comes from the Picadas Reservoir (Madrid), all of them with a price that ranges between 0.61 euros and 1.20 euros and available in hypermarkets, supermarkets and online stores.

Thus, white wheat beer is highly fermented, it has not been filtered at the end of its process so it preserves all its properties and maintains the flavor of the ingredients, it also has a fruity aroma and flavor with a cloudy and creamy body.

Instead, IPA (India Pale Ale) is a bitter, amber-colored beer with accentuated hop flavor and aroma. In the case of Session IPA, it is an adaptation of the original IPA beer but with a lighter flavor and body. Red beer is a copper-colored Red Ale with a fruity, toasted and caramel flavor and aroma.

Likewise, the unfiltered blonde retains more properties such as natural residues and yeasts, due to this traditional method of production. Reserva is a double malt beer, with a dense body, firm foam and with greater flavor. And also, for those intolerant to gluten, it has Gluten Free lager beer, blonde in color and fruity aroma.
