Clínica Baviera raises its profit by 9.5% in 2020, up to 14.2 million euros

The company’s turnover fell by 1.4% due to the cessation of activity due to the Covid pandemic.

Clínica Baviera has registered a net profit of 14.2 million euros in 2020, a figure 9.5% higher than that of 2019, as reported by the company to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) on Wednesday.

The company has highlighted that, despite being without activity for almost 20% of the total days of the year as a result of the pandemic, its medical activity almost reached that of 2019.

The billing of Bavarian Clinic decreased by 1.4% in 2020, up to 122.6 million euros, of which 80.4 million corresponded to Spain (-2.6%); 32.4 million to Germany, including Vienna (+5.6%) and 9.8 million to Italy (-11.8%).

The company’s gross operating profit reached 34.1 million euros in 2020, which represents a growth of 8% compared to the previous year.

At the end of 2020, net cash position of Clínica Baviera reached 10.6 million euros, in contrast to the net debt of 5.8 million euros existing at the end of 2019.
