Ferrovial sells its Australian subsidiary Broadspectrum with losses of 270 million

  • The closing of the operation is subject to regulatory authorizations
  • Ferrovial is immersed in a divestment process of its Services division

Ferrovial has reached an agreement to sell its Australian services subsidiary Broadspectrum to an entity controlled by Ventia Service Group, an operation that will mean losses of approximately 270 million euros in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The Spanish company, in a relevant fact sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), specifies that, however, the closing of the operation is subject to regulatory and competition authorizations.

This operation is part of the decision already announced by Ferrovial in 2018 to start a divestment process of its Services division, which, according to what the company indicates today to the CNMV, will continue.
