Mapfre will offer mortgages and consumer loans from Santander in its branches

The bank will open a branch at the insurer’s headquarters in Majadahonda (Madrid).

Mapfre It will offer Santander products and services in its offices, which represents another step in the commercial alliance that both companies have had for two years. Thus, from now on, individuals will be able to contract Santander mortgages, checking accounts, credit cards or consumer loans at the 3,000 Mapfre offices, as well as direct debit of income and receipts.

In the case of BusinessThe range ranges from accounts, credits and loans, to POS terminals, guarantees or leasing, through more specific products and services, such as those related to international business or commercial discounts.

For this, each point of sale of the insurer will be assigned a Santander tutor office, will have the support of the remote digital sales management teams and, additionally, the Mapfre network will have the support of commercial managers of the bank in its own territory.

In addition, the bank has opened an office at the insurer’s headquarters in Majadahonda (Madrid), to pay attention to the nearly 3,000 Mapfre employees who work in these facilities.

“This agreement will allow us to reach new clients and places where we are not through professionals with extensive experience and financial knowledge, while at the same time strengthening and promoting activity in a key segment such as the self-employed and SMEs“, Has indicated the CEO of Santander Spain, Rami Aboukhair.
