OHL reduces its losses to 10.4 million euros until September

The construction area reaches an ebitda of 53.3 million euros

the builder group OHL plost 10.4 million euros in the first nine months of the year, 99.2% less than in the same period of 2018, in which it recorded losses of 1,335.8 million, weighed down by the accounting adjustments derived from the sale OHL Concessions and other non-recurring impacts.

The gross operating profit (ebitda) rose to 40.1 million, compared to the negative result of 467.5 million that OHL posted last year, the company reported today.

This chapter highlights the evolution of the area of Construction, which reached an EBITDA of 53.3 million, compared to losses of 305.7 million in the first nine months of 2018.

Thes group sales grew by 3.5% and amounted to 2,119.9 million until September.

The total portfolio at the end of the third quarter stood at 5,318.4 million, with a contracting of 2,113.4 million so far this year.

The Construction portfolio reached 4,630.8 million, which represents 22.3 months of sales.

U.S (45,6%), Europe (35.3%) and Latin America (16.5%) concentrate the awards of this division.
