Pascual has decided to reorganize its structure to adapt to the new market and digital scene and present a collective dismissal procedure for around 200 workers, as announced by the company, which has specified that this measure mainly affects its distributor, Qualianza, and to a lesser extent the industrial and central services area.

“The rapid evolution of the market and its imminent transformation, accelerated in recent times, have highlighted aspects such as omnichannel, digital transformation, industry 4.0, the automation of processes or the new relational models with clients and consumers. All these trends are already a reality in Pascual, fully immersed in projects to face the new market and digital scene ”, he highlighted.

This new scenario motivates, according to the firm, an “urgent” reorganization of human resources to face the future in a better competitive position.

Start of conversations

For this, Pascual has presented said collective dismissal procedure, a “necessary” measure that responds to a detailed analysis of the profiles, processes and positions that the company needs to face this new market and the new models of relationship and industrial efficiency.

This decision has already been communicated to the workers’ representatives and to the workers themselves, so that they can start conversations to reach an agreement that satisfies the interests of all parties.

Contact with unions

Pascual has assured that he is approaching with “special sensitivity” this adjustment process that will reach as few people as possible.

This has been made known by the management to the representatives of the workers, showing that it will study the most appropriate conditions for that this “inevitable” process has the least impact social possible.

Pascual has considered “Essential” to adjust your production systems, management and distribution to the reality of the market to face new projects for the future. Despite this operation, the company’s commitment to job stability and the sustainability of the business project remains unchanged.

The company launched a new 2020-2023 strategic cycle in June, with new challenges and a new positioning that places integral sustainability at the center from environmental care, well-being and social development and economic growth in the communities where it is present. “The renewal supposes the adaptation of Pascual to the times, anticipating the tendencies that had already been guessed previously,” the firm highlighted.
