Sacyr earns 122 million until September, 12% more thanks to its international business

Sacyr obtained a net profit of 122 million euros in the first nine months of the year, 12.2% more than a year before, thanks to the evolution of its business in the first nine months of the year, 12.2% more than a year earlier, thanks to the evolution of its business, mainly abroad, as reported by the company to the Commission on Thursday National Securities Market (CNMV).

The company also increased its income by 12.2% between January and September, to add 3,032 million euros, 58% of which came from abroad.

The gross operating profit (Ebitda) of Sacyr soared 32%, to 492 million euros, thanks especially to the concessions business, which contributed 77% of the total.

For its part, the net operating result (Ebit) increased by 28% in the first nine months, reaching 357 million euros.

The net debt of the group stood at 4,634 million euros at the end of September, compared to 4,045 million at the end of 2018, as a result of the increase in investments to develop its new concession projects. However, the company has highlighted that its recourse corporate debt decreased to 1,082 million euros.
