Santander launches 1,000 mortgages financed up to 95% for children under 35 years of age

The bank will give 100 euros to Smartbank customers (under 32 years of age) who domicile their payroll and keep it for at least one year.

Santander is going to launch 1,000 mortgages with a financing up to 95% of the purchase and sale value and appraisal for young people less than 35 years With the aim of facilitating access to the purchase of a home, since the initial savings that they will have to contribute may be 5%, much lower than usual (usually 20%).

It is an initiative that has already hinted Ana Botín, president of the bank, a few months ago, although at that time she proposed mortgages with up to 95% financing for young people but with a 20% guarantee from the Official Credit Institute (ICO).

The plan is intended for mortgages both fixed and variable rate with a maximum return period of thirty years. To acquire this mortgage it will be necessary to provide a personal guarantee for the first five years of loan formalization. Santander will provide a simulator on its website for the payment of fees.

Payroll credit

In addition, Santander has decided to try to capture payroll through the payment of 100 euros to those who domicile it until June 30, a current promotion for all clients of the entity.

To receive the subscription, all they have to do is direct the payroll and keep it in the bank for at least one year, as well as sign up for the campaign.

Santander thus joins other banks, such as Abanca or Liberbank, which offer an incentive through the deposit of an amount in exchange for the direct debit of the payroll, which can reach 300 euros.
