The average daily price of electricity in the wholesale market will rise this Tuesday to 145.95 euros / MWh, 60.03% more than this Monday, the day the price stood at 91.2 euros / MWh, according to reports Europa Press.
This increase implies that the value of electricity rises again after two days of prices below 100 euros / MWh, when minimums have been reached since August 17, the day when electricity was at 89.5 euros / MWh.
In this way, the light of this Tuesday will be 54.75 euros more expensive than today, although it is still far from the historical maximum price registered on October 7, when electricity stood at 288.53 euros / MWh.
Compared to the same day a year ago, the price has risen 256.9%, since the price then stood at 40.89 euros / MWh.
The highest price this Tuesday will be between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., when it will reach 223.55 euros / MWh, while the lowest will be recorded between 04.00 am and 05.00 am, when it will trade at 93.13 euros / MWh.
The average price of electricity at the end of October was 212.29 euros / MWh, that is, 56.15 euros above the average for September (156.14 euros / MWh), thus being the most expensive month of history so far. With the first two data for November, the average would be 118.575 euros / MWh.
